Thermoset fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pumps are increasingly being used in the pump industry due to their low weight, durability, custom properties. Thermoset is a material that cures or hardens into a engineered shape, through the reaction with a catalyst. Curing is an irreversible chemical reaction in which permanent cross-links are made between a the molecular level.
